About Us

We're a family-owned business, and we've been in the restaurant industry for over 30 years. When we first opened Bad Habit Room, it was a labor of love. My parents had saved up $100,000 from their jobs to buy this restaurant from my grandmother—and she gave it to them for free.

It wasn't easy at first, but then we got our footing and started making some money. We were doing so well that my dad bought another restaurant down the street called The Cutest Little Restaurant in Town—a place that serves only desserts!

We were on top of the world. Then one day, my dad came home from work early and told us that he lost everything: The Cutest Little Restaurant in Town was shutting down because it couldn't make enough money, and his other business was going under too. This time he didn't have any savings left to fall back on—he'd spent all our money trying to save the first restaurant! I'm telling you all this so you know that even though Bad Habit Room seems like it's always packed with people eating really good food… sometimes things aren't always what they seem.

Back then, we needed an extra $3,000 to make improvements and change the kitchen concept. And a $3,000 loan saved us. We want people to know how important it is to save money when you can—you never know when you might need it later on down the line!
